This expanded collection of craft related books was initiated in 1980. It is a growing collection with a key focus on textiles. The collection has been shared in a public gallery setting twice, at Arnolfini in 2009 and at Platform in 2016.
The books have been collected by Mandy McIntosh, an artist from Glasgow who uses textile approaches in her work which includes animation, sculpture, drawing and community based working. Mandy McIntosh is currently researching ways to make the collection accessible to the public.
